Schibsted Trykk has installed 5 Goss Colorline 80 S printing presses with two and three folders respectively in each of the two printing press halls. In total the plant consists of 22 printing towers, which are computer operated and have axleless drives. A printing tower consists of four units, and here you can produce 16 broadsheet pages or 32 tabloid pages. The number of towers and units operating is adapted to the number of pages and the number of colour pages of the product.

The maximum printing rate is 80,000 copies per hour. If the plant is operating at capacity, approx. 300,000 tabloid newspapers can be produced per hour at normal printing rate. The production of Aftenposten and VG usually involves 2 folders per product, which means that 70,000 and 120,000 copies respectively of these newspapers are printed per hour.

Paper arrives on trucks at Schibsted Trykk in whole, 3/4 or half rolls and is delivered to a large paper warehouse. We receive paper deliveries approx. 12 times a day. The warehouse has a capacity of around 1,700 rolls, which is sufficient for a week's production. After the end pieces of the packaging have been removed, the internal transport of the rolls of paper to the reelstands occurs automatically using laser-guided fork-lift trucks. There are a total of 27 reelstands that supply the printing towers with paper.
