| Schibsted Trykk wants its workplaces to be safe, and to have a pleasant working environment with good co-operation between colleagues and between the management and other employees. There is active work on HSE matters, through the working environment committee, amongst other things.
Pre-press newspaper production is done digitally. Basically, printing plants do not pollute much. Production processes that include the use of polluting substances take place within closed systems. Most waste is sorted at source, and agreements have been entered into with approved transport companies for the collection of hazardous waste. Normal operations do therefore not involve any danger of discharges from the plants to the ground, atmosphere or water.   
Environmental policySchibsted Trykk shall be a leading environmental company with a strong environmental profile in relation to its own employees, the authorities, customers and its surroundings.
Schibsted Trykk recognises that its operations can affect the external environment and can expose its employees to negative working environment impacts. The company will therefore set strict requirements to ensure that production equipment and methods contribute to our operations being run with minimal damage to health and the environment.
Schibsted Trykk shall take environmental issues into account when purchasing and supplying products and services, and shall contribute towards customers reaching their environmental goals.
Schibsted Trykk shall constantly develop its work on environmental issues. This shall be made apparent through the establishment and development of good HSE systems, and through constantly setting higher targets for its own environmental results. The company will in the course of this work draw on the knowledge of external authorities and of employees through their active participation.
Schibsted Trykk shall be transparent in its work on HSE issues and shall set out plans of action and annual reports that document the company's work in the field of HSE.
HSE systemIn accordance with the company's environmental policy, Schibsted Trykk will prioritise work aimed at improving the well-being and safety of its employees, protect its employees against personal accidents, as well as prevent harm to the external environment.
The company's HSE system satisfies the requirements set out in the regulations on businesses carrying out systematic work on health, safety and the environment. The system is documented in a separate handbook, and it will be developed in line with the requirements and possibilities that appear as a result of the systematic work on HSE issues, in line with the company's future prioritisations and requirements stipulated by the authorities.
