Schibsted Trykk produces daily newspapers, periodicals and advertising material. The production process uses modern equipment and technology, and runs almost twenty-four hours a day.

At night, the daily newspapers Aftenposten, VG and Dagsavisen are produced. During the day, we print Aftenposten Aften and a range of periodicals and advertising material for a large number of customers.

The production process involves broadsheet and tabloid as its basic formats. The plant can produce four colour print for up to 96 pages of broadsheet, and up to 192 pages of tabloid.

Approx. 250 million copies of the daily newspapers are produced per year, whilst the other publications amount to around 100 million copies annually. Annually, this production uses approx. 70,000 tonnes of paper, 400 tonnes of black ink and 1050 tonnes of coloured ink.

Via Aftenposten's DM department, we also receive supplements from other printing plants that are to be inserted in Aftenposten's newspaper products. This process occurs in the mail room.
